…s from turkey vultures,not just one but a whole family! They love living in cliff settings like this! I’ve seen the same thing on a climb I would regularly do back east that had cliff faces like this! I really like how you took this photo it’s a neat perspective on the falls and the cliffs in the background. It especially makes me want to go there and wait to see the vultures come to roost at night!

Vanessa, Thanks for your wildlife expertise. Just joking, but I don’t think one can stay in the park overnight. Zion is a wonderful park, but I continually learn that the best images are made close to home where it is feasible to make several outings to the same location under differing conditions. Thanks for the info on turkey vultures.

Yeah, Larry, I agree with that. Especially since I don’t have any choice! So I am glad that we have Turkey Vultures where I live! At least for part of the year! If I never got to see them I would really want to move to have a different ‘close to home’ place to be!
