Description

this was actually taken after I had spent the night camping nearby. Yes it was a very cold night.

It was really beautiful in the morning with the light shining as it was. The shadows were really impressive.

anything that will help me as a photographer improve my skills

this is probably an old Agfachrome that is printed as black-and-white.

David, this is a fine look following the shadows into the forest where the undulations in the snow add well to feeling of movement.

Beautiful image, David. No nits from me on this one and it makes me glad I never got into winter camping, though I do remember getting six or so inches of new snow one outing.
