A female Gadwall Duck followed by a couple males, with the snow covered mountain as a backdrop. Fast shutter speed and fast focus are critical for catching these ducks in flight. It’s quite a challenge. A similar challenge would be skeet shooting, using a shotgun with a high power scope on it!

Gary: I might long for some separation of the males but this is pretty darn good as is. The BG helps a lot and I like that the wings are all in a similar almost choreographed position. Most excellent. >=))>
