A Lone Cottonwood

This lone cottonwood was in full autumn bloom feeding off this small tributary of the Fremont River in Utah.

Beautiful tree!!! Nice setting too. Works for me.

Paul,

Excellent! Now here’s a tree that simply demands attention. Not sure what made me think of this, but I’ll say it anyways… “The Little Tree that Could.”

Great color, composition. All good.

Beautiful colors in the tree, Paul. The lanscape surrounding it is wonderful.

That is one glowing cottonwood, Paul. It stands out beautifully here. The angled stream and the red rocks make for a very inviting view.

Lovely photo! My only suggestion would be to lighten the stream and the left bank just a little.

That lone cottonwood certainly is a gorgeous splash of yellow in this beautiful scene, Paul. The color palette is also very appealing as is the diagonal placement of the creek as it winds it’s way through the image. Nicely done.

Definitely a stand out tree, Paul! Good choice of composition also.
