First of all, I think the colors are terrific. The bounciness given to the flowers by your ICM is very cheery.
I was struck by the horizontal aspect of the layers of flowers; it seemed a little static. For me, the scene seemed a bit of too much of one repeated thing, accentuated by the long aspect.
So I tinkered a little, cropped and rotated … maybe increased fluidity, and hopefully keeps the cheeriness of the original.

Thank you so much Dick for your feedback. It’s really interesting to see how the viewer reacts to an image. To my eye the original 16x9 does give fluidity as it gives more space for the ‘wildfire’ to spread without having the constraints of a tighter crop. but hey, I take on board what you say and your comments are very much appreciated. Thank you so much for commenting

Hi Dewi, thanks for posting and welcome to the community! Love the title of your image. I’ll describe your photo as a spontaneous combustion of cheeriness. Yes it conveys the feeling of fluidity and warmth quite well. The colors contribute to the positive vibe.

I like the overall balance of yellow movements with the short brown lines of the trunks. The 16x9 aspect ratio gives enough breathing room and lets the eye wander. Nice work overall!

I waslooking through your portfolio the other day and found your post about icm work to be very interesting!!

@dewi … here’s a critique, better late than never
So I really like what you did here, using movement, color and light, to let what you saw and felt there, become alive. Your image really pulls me in to it. It’s like Im there in that field right now, feeling the breeze that makes the grass move, enjoying the warm sun on me, and being so happy to be alive, surrounded by nature. This is awsome, I wouldn’t change a thing
