Nice catch of the trio Allen. I’m not used to seeing three together. The bare tree provides an interesting perch. I could see bringing down the brightness of the tree trunk in places.

To me this is a very appealing image. The main features I find interesting are there are three, northern flickers (I think), they are all looking at the camera and they form a nice pattern. I also like the blue sky in the background. I used the term appealing because it is an image I really enjoyed looking at, not because of its beauty like a snowy mountain scene, but because of the features I mentioned. This was a very nice capture!

A very fun image, Allen. I really like the arrangement of the Flickers on the old snag. The fir trees add to the sense of place.
