Abstract Wallpaper

This is a composite of two images merged as layers in PS. The color comes from a deliberately unfocused wide aperture, long focal length (probably 600 mm) of a section of a flower garden, the striations are a really cool cloud formation we had one evening. This was done 4 years ago, so the details are a bit fuzzy.

Pertinent technical details or techniques:

Colored layer taken with 7DII and Sigma 150-600 contemporary lens deliberately unfocused. The cloud layer was taken with a 5DIII and 28-70 lens. It was the second layer, so exif data didn’t get incorporated.

I like this as much as anything posted for wallpaper…cool abstract!

Dennis, this is a fine abstract that would make great wallpaper. The flow of the dark rays and the gently warm colors give this an inspirational feeling.

Hi Dennis, pretty neat how you combined the two into a very attractive photo. I can easily imagine the pink flowers reaching to the right supported by their stems. A great wallpaper candidate for sure!
