I visited with my adult daughter, who teaches in South Africa. It was lovely, even though there was a tinge of sadness at the possibility of this being our last time together.
I am pleased with the varieties and shades of many colours.

Pieter, this is a lovely fall scene. I love the bi-coloured leaves and the diagonal branches, set against the vibrant greens. The off-level trunks add a lot of interest, and the perfectly-vertical thin trunk on the right confirms the leaning ones are captured accurately.

This image shows off the autumn colors in Acadia beautifully. I like the visual tension created with the horizontal multi colored leaves as they cross the vertical lines of the tree trunks. It has been several years since I last visited Acadia NP and this is how I remember it. thanks for sharing!
