For no good reason except that it sounded like fun, each day I’ve been posting something I shot on the same day a week ago, but last week, Thursday was the only day I didn’t shoot something, so I’m cheating on myself and posting this one from Tuesday last week.

Technical Details

Is this a composite: No
Canon R5, EF 600 f/4 + 2X, ISO 1600, 1/400 sec. Only slight Shadow and Highlight movements in LR, and in PS, Denoise, cloned out a piece of a feeder at the bottom and very minor retouching on the perch. Slight crop from the bottom and right.

That is a mighty piece of glass and you wield it well. Super pose here! Love how alert this baby is. Such pale eyes. Feather detail to die for. As David said, keep 'em coming!

Such an amazing shot, Diane, doesn’t matter to which day took it. . . the details, composition and colors are a pleasure to look at time and again.
