Wonderful photo Jaapy. The look on the lion’s face says it all and the composition is perfect. I am just wondering if you cropped it a bit? Or did your lens allow you to get this close? Really nice photo.

Minimal crop, just to tweak the composition. We were fairly close, but a 400 on an MFT sensor equals an 800 mm lens. One of the reasons I (and some other wildlife photogrphers) like this combo. Easy to use handheld because not too heavy and incredible I.S. Thank you for your kind words
