Welcome to NPN, Angela! This is a wonderful first post! The clouds are unusual and very interesting, with the bit of warm light on the broken-up group near the top. You found a very nice composition. I have no suggestions except the desire to see more of your work – I hope you will find participation here as rewarding as I do!

Angela, welcome to NPN and the Weekly Challenge. This is a neat find, nicely seen. At first glance it feels like it may have been taken out the window of an airplane. The light cloud from the lower right leads into the view well. Then the slightly colored, scattered clouds pull attention back the other way, to the brightness in the upper right. Remember, an important part of making NPN a community is commenting on what you like and don’t like about the photos posted by other members.

Welcome Angela. This is a great abstract photo of clouds, lovely colors and good leading lines, as Mark mentioned.

Welcome to NPN Angela,

Interesting cloud formation. It looks like you were pointing the camera straight up, giving an unusual abstract feel to the photo, an almost dizzying effect. Cool.

Thanks Diane for the warm welcome. Much appreciated

Thanks Mark, appreciate the comments as well as the tips for commenting on other photos. Now you say it, it does look like it’s been shot from a plane.

Thanks Roberta, your comments are appreciated

Thanks for the welcome Youssef, Yes I was point straight up
