Against The Wall - re-post

Revised in response to suggestions by @Kris_Smith and @Gary_Minish and observation by @Mark_Seaver . Cooled, then used a LAB curve to bring out more colors in the wall and leaves. Sharpened. Thanks for nudging me to take this from a quick submission to a really pretty decent photograph.

I like it. Small creatures making their way in this world astound me sometimes and this is a good example of how that can come across. I find the image too warm though and thus the colors are muddier than I think they could be. I like the progression from the tall to the small as well.

A nice choice for the challenge, Dick! The butterfly is definitely the important part of the scene. I agree with Kristen though, that cooling the whole image a bit would make for better definition of all the elements.

Dick, I’m enjoying the need to look carefully. There are a number of subtle pieces here including the butterfly.
