Am I Blue 2

In my previous post “Am I Blue” I included a shot from the summit of Rattlesnake Mountain, looking down onto Squam Lake New Hampshire. I had hiked up for sunrise, but the lake was totally socked in with fog. I ended up instead shooting an abstract image of fog shrouded islands in the lake. This post shows what the view looked like as the fog started to dissipate. The islands in the distance of this image were the subject of my prior post. From the viewpoint at the top of the mountain I was 500 feet above the lake, but could quite clearly hear loons calling on the water below, which was pretty neat to experience.
