Ancient

I was fortunate to have two trips to Iqaluit (Nunavut) and surroundings. Walks out on the tundra we slow, both because of the terrain, and the countless—and I don’t use that word lightly—photo options. Lichen-covered rocks everywhere were works of art, often abstract, as was this on with blue-gray colors and a break to set it all off.

Nicely seen and captured, John. Love the minimalist feel and all that detail in the rock. I’ve never even seen blue lichen. Thanks for sharing this.
