Description
Bay-backed Shrike are generally not shy when in comes to being near people. One fine evening, this bird decided to tolerate me and my camera and it was busy watching the sunset.
This small bird looks more beautiful in flight and hopefully one day i could capture it.

Wonderful little bird and well captured. Details and exposure look good. I would advise moving the bird off center in the frame. A move to the left with good room for the bird to face would be beneficial I think. Generally white blotches in an otherwise darker background is not considered ideal but in this case the background works for me given the frequency of the background white and that it matches some white on the bird. A tighter crop could also be considered as an alternative but I like this version with the bird in a fair amount of space. Nicely taken.
A lovely catch! I think you could crop tighter to show off the bird more. The BG is nice but it competes with the bird a bit because of the brighter areas.
A beautiful bird, Santhru and very nicely photographed. I do like the reframing you did and agree with @Diane_Miller that you could probably get away with cropping a bit tighter-at least for web presentation. Normally, I prefer a head turn toward the camera a bit, but a change of attitude like this is a welcome change and does portray the bird as more unaware of the photographer.
