Here is another closeup of a bee and I used the 90D 180 macro, no flash. 1/320 f/8 iso 400. I think I was on a tripod but do not remember. I did want to blur the background and this plant had a lot of green in it. No real crop here on this one. Should I do anything with the color background, the bee is so focused here so maybe ok?
Dean, this is a really nice look at the bee, busy at work. The background works okay for me. Very nice details in the subject. I think if it was my image, I would try toning down the highlights, especially on the plant, and the one place in the top left corner, which wants to pull my eye. Great shot.
