Black Headed Grosbeak

After a few months of concern about salmonella and bird flu, I finally bleach cleaned my feeders and set them up. This Black Headed Grosbeak image was taken this morning. I had quite a few species show up. Light was harsh at 7 am.

β€œIs that actually FOOD in there?” The cautious pose seems typical of the few I see. The bright light brought out good color, and you are killing me with your gorgeous BGs. They always add so much interest without competing with the subject.
