You captured some fierce action here. I like how you have used the crotch of the tree as a frame for the carcass and the body of the hawk. Lovely blurred bg even at f/8. I usually do not like the eye being covered with the nictitating membrane but the way the light is shining on it makes this scene seem a bit sinister. Also well done on some fairly bright light.
An excellent action capture, Jitin! Great colors and clarity and the little piece of dinner that it’s dropping is a nice bonus. A clear eye would have been nice but sometimes you take what you can get.
