Nice look at the Bushtit, Dave. I like the perch and how the leaves frame the bird. I find the bright blue in the LLC a bit distracting and could see some sort of crop to include just the branch, leaves, and bird.
I really like the two clumps of leaves and the position of the Bushtit, Dave. I too find the blue in the lower left a bit distracting but I’d hate to crop enough off the bottom to get rid of it, though I could see cropping to just a bit under the bottom twig and then picking up some of the greens from the background and splashing them over that corner.
So lovely!! I would make a very soft-edged selection of that LL corner and try reducing the contrast. The crop is perfect – leave it alone!
