Black Point Alligator

Description

This alligator had hauled out on this little island along the Black Point Drive at Merritt Island NWR in Florida. There were a lot of OOF leaves around the edges that had to be negotiated to get a decent image.

Specific Feedback

Direction of Alligator? Crop? Foliage? Any comments or suggestions are welcomed. Thanks for taking a look.

Hi Ed, I like seeing the backside of this gator with all the ridges present. Nice to include the sawtooth tail also - another point of interest. Given that, I really don’t mind that the gator is facing away from us in the image. An interesting perspective.
