Hi Sandy, beautiful bird well captured. The oof branch is not ideal but the bird is striking enough to still command attention. Nice BG otherwise. Nice head turn too.

You have to love modern noise reduction. Excellent detail and color in the Motmot, Sandy. While I don’t like that oof tree, I don’t think it’s a deal breaker. Did you get some shots from a step or two to the right or with the opposite head turn?

Dennis - Sadly, no - he flew in, perched for about 2 seconds, and I got off one short series of shots before he left. I felt lucky to get any. Love these little guys!
