Bundjalung National Park

Early morning on the north coast of New South Wales, Australia. Big winds had started a lot of beach erosion and exposed the black, coffee rock seen in the right background. The little sand dune in the foreground has pig footprints walking across it. The pigs, unfortunately, would be searching for Pied Oyster Catcher nesting sites hidden in the grass.

Glennie, the gentle pastels and long sweeping view make this very peaceful and pleasant, something to spend some time looking at after a challenging day.

Glennie, this is one of your best images. I love the pastels. And the footprints are just fine to set the scale. Really nice shot.

Wonderful lines, with the clouds, waves, shoreline and dunes all marching to the vanishing point! The gorgeous soft color palette is appropriate to the scene – well done!
