Hi Skip, Nice pose you captured and I like the head turn and eye catchlight. Colors look good to me even though I’m not familiar with this species. The shooting angle is quite steep but this still makes for a pleasing image.

A bit of a steep angle, Skip, but barring having a lift truck, it’s usually what you get with these. Excellent detail and exposure and the angle does give you some great leading lines from the saguaro.

Cactus wrens always perch on the most spiny of plants. Colors and exposure look good and I think that this shows us what cactus wrens are like in real life. Well done…Jim
