Can you see me?

I was at Skidaway island state park on Sept 13, I saw this and one other deer crossing the street, I stopped my truck and got out when they walked behind a line of trees, this one stopped as if to be watching me. The deer stood still for maybe 30 seconds, enough time to get this and 2 more photos. The amazing thing was when the 2 deer finally walked away as they were passing through the trees and other plants they didn’t make sound.

This is quite underexposed – here is a suggestion, with a simple Curves adjustment (Levels would also work) just pulling in the right slider. Also a suggested crop.
