David, this is a fine, clean look at this Bufflehead. The reflections and ripples in the water are great additions.

I believe that your next gear purchase is a submersible with a 500mm f4 on the periscope. You have a fine look at this bufflehead. From my phone, I see individual feathers and excellent detail. Your camera placement works very well and it is something that is taken for granted when photographing perched birds. Well done…Jim

Really like the contrast between the soft green ripples in the water and sharp detailed Bufflehead. Beautfully done David.
