Canon 5ds-r, with 100x400x1.4 , 1/400sec., f-8. This is my first experience with the “bird in the fog”. Any suggestions appreciated.

Very nice John. I like the pose and nice direct eye contact. It is nice and sharp and fine detail to match. The fog looks fine.
He’s a beauty, Wayne. You might look at cropping a little more on the left and a bit less on the right, but the bird is great.
Thanks to all , this is my first experience with the fog approach. Agree with the suggestion to crop a bit more on the left and will show some soft berries next time.
