Catch Me If You Can!

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

Here are a couple of the red fox kits. I believe the one in front is running off with a shrew.

Specific Feedback

Cropping? I burned down some of the grass in front - wondering if that looks good.
The kits are lighter in color than the adults so I tried to keep that look.

Hi Allen,
These fox kits are really cute. You have captured the scene wonderfully.

I’m not sure about the crop. I would leave a little more space for the foxes on the left and lower edge of the picture. But that’s a matter of taste.

Allen: what’s not to like about a photo showing fox kits at play in a lush environment. It’s enjoyable to see these two just going about their lives. My only minor suggestion would be to place a linear gradient on the light grasses in the foreground.
