Chasmanthium latifolium is a native grass of the central & eastern US. At the edges of the range, it is rare and, in some states, Endangered.

It’s a beautiful flowering plant and thus used as a garden ornamental.

Another very fine image, sir. I love the background…will have to try this sometime…I like the composition and the positioning of the grass.

Thank you. The arch of the fruiting stems is what is found naturally. Grasses are beautiful plants and, unfortunately, overlooked.
