Grass Willow surprised me with great color in the forest next to my home. 100MM Laowa macro, Canon 5Dmk IV. f13, 1/100th mounted to Mathews wedge and RRS focusing rail. I had to move fast with changing light.

Michael: I love the challenges and rewards of working with this kind of light. I like the spotlit stems immediately behind the flower but would seriously consider burning down the highlights below and right of the main bloom and making the bright grass tip at the end of the petal go away. Your focus on the stamens/pistil is spot on and I like your DOF choice. >=))>
The dappled light of being in a forest actually enhances the feeling of the surrounding environment. Beautiful flower that I’ve never seen. No suggestions. Just enjoying the view.
