for some reason which I cannot figure out, my JPEG images that are exported seem brighter on-screen. That was the case with this image. As a result I went back and darkened it and am reposting it

Good look at the Chickadee, David, with fine detail and handling of the blacks and whites. I like the perch with the yellow lichen. Actually, I think I prefer the lighter (top) image

I agree with your decision to darken the image slightly, David. Wish I could help you with the difference between the brightness of the jpeg and the working image. It seems strange that it would do that, but hopefully someone else has seen it.

Nice pose and details David. Wish I could help with the technical issue but I’m at a loss. Love the textures shown of the bird and perch.
