Image Description
The desert areas have vast amount of blooms depending upon the annual rainfall. For the most part we’ve been lucky over the last few years receiving a fair amount. If the count really goes up than we see the poppy blooms too.
This is a brittle brush plant in full springtime bloom and is located in the White Water Nature Reserve area of Riverside County, CA.

Love this! The shadows deep down and the way the light hits the different level of flowers creates a ton more depth than you might expect from this perspective. I really like it!

Paul, this is a great collection of these flowers. I too like how you’ve got a good sense of depth in addition to the frame full of flowers.

@Paul_Holdorf @Mark_Seaver …I appreciate the reviews and comments on this scene. Just a bit different than many other desert plant scenes…
Paul,
Very lovely! Great job filling the frame with these brilliant flowers.
No nits here - Even after my border patrol exercise, I can’t find anything to be critical of. ha ha.
Actually, a subject matter - I could see raising the whites/lights giving the pedals a little more brightness. But that’s pretty picky
