Great Sand Dunes NP
I always look for small groups of hikers when shooting the dunes. This couple and their dog were among the early birds trekking to the top of the dunes and were getting pretty close. All comments welcome. >=))>
Cool textures on the dunes, and the light is lovely. This would be a good one for the current weekly challenge.
I very much enjoy the overall composition, with the lateral flow and then the flow upward with the crest questers. You presented a fine image to convey the artistic effect of moisture and various types of dunes. Is that snow, also?
If snow or reflection, I found the white on the top above the hikers and near the left crest a bit distracting. changed it with a selection and clone.
Bill, the various shades of brown in these dunes always grabs my attention. The dune shapes are set of very well by the blue shadows and the tiny hikers set the perspective beautifully. You’ve got a ton of fine shots from this park.
