Description

Have just returned from South Africa and am still sorting through thousands of images, but was particularly fond of these two. The lion cub was so curious.

Nikon Z9, Nikkor Z 400mm f/2.8 TC VR S
Lightroom Classic, first photo processed through DxO Pure Raw. White balance temp increased, increase whites, adjustments to blacks, highlights, and shadows.

Hello Christine,
I like both photos very much. Young animals are so curious about all the new things they see… I love this behavior and it comes across well in these photos. The top one more than the other, for me.
I see you photographed with a 400mm f/2.8 - any reason why you stopped down to f/5,6?
