We were in Chyulu Hills in Kenya watching a pride of lions when this young lion strolled up close to the vehicle and just gazed at us for a few minutes. She seemed to be quite curious and interested in the vehicle. After a few minutes she just stretched and wandered back to the pride. Not much action but I really liked her attentiveness and the color of the lion and the brush.

I would love any comments on composition, color and framing. Any thoughts on how to make the photo better or even to take a better photo would be be greatly appreciated

An interesting interaction, your image definitely captured the mood and expression on the young lion. The lighting, tones and textures all work very well for the scene and I don’t see any need for any adjustments. I would consider removing the long grass poking her in the neck but other than that, well done!
