The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
I posted a summertime image of this scene a few years ago. This past weekend I had the opportunity to visit the area again during Fall colors. This is a side channel in a cypress swamp (Reelfoot Lake) in northwest Tennessee. I wanted to show the wild nature of the swamp in the beauty of autumn.

A beautiful and fully realized image. You’ve used a light, delicate touch in post-processing that really accentuates a feeling of tranquility. The soft light and delicate reflections are gorgeous and I can just imagine myself gently floating along this little winding creek listening to birds calling and insects buzzing. Truly lovely - I only wish I could see it larger.
Gorgeous image! What a peaceful and serene setting. Excellent colours, exquisite detail, nice reflection, and perfect comp.
An ideal fall image.
Well-done!
Allen, I really love the golden highlights in this that capture my attention, yet do not overpower the rest of the image. The composition is excellent and draws me further in to the frame bit by bit. I want to be there in a boat or kayak just taking it all in. I also love all of the detail in those cypress knees and trees. This is idyllic.
Allen, this is indeed a lovely swamp view. I like how the light puts the attention in the middle distance and lets the lovely reflections hold there own in the foreground. You’ve got a fine “I’m right there ready to paddle around that corner.” feeling here.
