Dalls in Denali

This is another photo taken on the same day as the last post, during my lottery drive through of Denali National Park in 2009. This time I was able to get quite a bit closer to the sheep which in this case were all ewes & lambs. The snow covered mountains made for a great background. The one nursing lamb was a bonus in this shot.

Specific Feedback Requested

Looking at this years later I’m thinking it could use a crop off the bottom as the lower grasses are just dead space. Opinions would be appreciated.

Here is a 16x9 crop for comparison:

Wonderful image, Gary. The shapes/composition and contrast in the terrain nicely reflects the environment. Definitely prefer the cropped version. Great shot!

Wonderful!! Gorgeous subjects in an amazing landscape!! I was thinking about a crop before I scrolled down to see you had, too. I prefer it. You might think about removing the two pieces of snow on the LR border.
