Description

While pushing through tall, green grasses surrounding a local pond, I noticed a spot of blue. With careful stalking, I was able to get this single shot (surprise, surprise…), full frame photo of a Double-striped Bluet as it enjoyed breakfast.

The blue is quite striking against all of the green.

Mark, you did get a great shot of this beauty. It looks like he has a hoverfly or something like it as a meal so that might have helped distract him from your stalking. Great shot.
