Dawn's Reluctant Admirer: A Coromandel Awakening

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

I took this image during an uncharacteristic early rise, as I’m not usually one to chase sunrises. The sun made a grand appearance over the Coromandel Coast in New Zealand, casting a warm glow over the scattered islets. The sea shimmered under the newborn light, flanked by the silhouettes of hills and foliage in the foreground. The scene was a quiet reminder that every so often, the early alarm is worth it.
