Hoar frost on icicles, a beautiful consequence of an as yet unfrozen but stormy Lake Superior and air temperatures well below 0F.

Specific Feedback Requested

Any and all always welcome. It wasn’t possible to capture the bottoms of most of the icicles in the frame without interference of a distracting element, but I think the story is the hoar frost itself, so I don’t think it suffers too badly. for it,

Amazing! Quite a collection of icicles to start with, and then the frost is the proverbial icing on the cake. The composition works for me as the frost is the subject and you have captured enough to show the basic structure of the icicles.

Jeff, the mix of icicles and hoar frost is amazing and nicely dramatic. I like that you’ve got the solid ice bits across the top. (BTW, the weekly challenge runs from Sunday 12:00 AM to the following Saturday 11:59 PM, Eastern USA time.)
