New ice

Description: I never tire of photographing ice, in large part because it changes as the season progresses or the temperature changes. This is newly formed ice on a spot on the river bank where the water level had fluctuated, thus the curved patterns and crystalline structure on the bottom of the ice.

John, the mix of sweeping lines and “puzzle” shapes looks great. The bit of debris is a nice change-of-pace. Well seen.
