I’ve posted this one before but it was a fun find – the dwarf jumped out at me right away. From the bonsai tufa area at Mono Lake.

Just a quick shot on an exploratory walk. A little minor cloning of edge distractions. I didn’t enhance the elf at all.

OMGosh, @Diane_Miller! This is so cute. It does look a little bit like a duck, but, yes, elf works! A great example of “pareidolia” or seeing “a specific, often meaningful image in a random or ambiguous visual pattern.” By the way, the processing looks good — I like the texture of the wood, and the background provides a nice, non-distracting framing for the elf!
