Hi Dick, this is a very striking photo, could almost be a monster showing its teeth. I’m assuming that’s all sandstone, which is easily eroded by the wind. Reminds me of similar stand-alone formations in Utah’s Bryce Canyon NP, called hoodoos. Nicely seen!
Seems that I missed this originally… I like how you’ve emphasized the “figures” in this pano, Dick. The figures along the bottom look like a row of eroded Egyptian statues. I do wish for the bottom of the frame to not be so dark, especially near the left edge.
