Canyon Wall Intricacies Nr 2

I was struck by the marking of water erosion in the canyon. Looked like water still was flowing over rocks. In this rendition, I desaturated the yellow hues and moved them a bit to blue.

Dick, the subtle colors and myriad flow lines make a fine abstract. I do think that more contrast in the brighter areas would be good. BTW, the lines in the stone are from their origin as wind blown sand dunes.

Dick, it does look like waves. Amazing how sand blown over time can cut the rocks like this. Very good eye to see this small scene of “waves” in the rock.

Dick: Good vision and a very fine comp and capture. I like the subtle color palette and can also see what Mark is advising. Top notch shot. >=))>
