  • Emotional Impact and Mood: I think this is the best aspect of this image - the mood feels good to me - it speaks.
  • Color: I kind of like the warm hues- would be interesting to see how it looks a bit cooler.
  • Processing: I see some banding in the sky - was this an edited RAW, or an edited JPG?

Many thanks Matt for you words… regarding the banding , this was moved from canon raw to tiff and then jpeg saved …yes i noticed that the banding came in during the editing …just thinking how to do away with it

It was probably introduced at some point in the editing process, or something funky in your export settings. Are you exporting from LR? Does the TIFF file look banded?

It’s been years since I’ve seen a post of yours here. Welcome back. I now like these type of images. The lack of sharpness creates a mystery that works well with the overall darkness and glow in this image.
