Dr. Ian - "I'm Flying! "

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

This is an ancient image, now re-worked. Ian was a delightful and very bright neighbor kid in Sandy, Oregon - here playing in the snow on Mt Hood. He often came over to visit, and we explored the neighborhood for bugs and little critters.
I just received the family’s annual Christmas letter, and Ian is now a Resident in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery at Stanford, and still interested in entomology. They enclosed a copy of this picture that’s been on their wall for 22 years, so I dug it up from the old computer files. Very fond memories of him and his family!

Very cool – both the picture and the story!

Impressive photo, nice title and wonderful story. Even more impressive that your were able to go back 22 years and find it (at least to me, anyway).

Beautiful image, Sandy. I can see why they’ve had it on their wall. Thanks for recovering and posting it.

@Jim_Gavin
LOL! I’ve spent most of the last year re-organizing all my files, and still have a good ways to go. Even now, I can’t find some I really want…

I love it Sandy. He’s so cool!!!
