Critique Style Requested: Standard
The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
Pretty simple ICM. My goal of the time with these is to avoid the “you kicked the tripod” look. The scene in front of me was quite static and really not a worthy subject. But the light was warm as the sun was getting low and the warmth of the scene against the blues in the sky, were appealing.
Specific Feedback
I chose the standard critique response simply because there’s nothing really mysterious about this - it’s somewhat? obvious the source scene? But I would like to learn any first impressions you may have had. Yeah, the title directs you to what I thought of. I guess the “dreamy” part of this to me is the sky (yeah, it’s sky with some small puffy clouds on a blur.)
I’m also curious if the color palette is pleasing, or works together. I struggled and decided I was spending too much time attempting to tweak this. Plus, when presenting abstracts, hopefully most of the rules of color and saturation go out the window… provided it’s not too gaudy.
What do you see?
Your comments and suggestions most welcome! Thank You!
