Ducks In Flight - 2019

This was an excellent year for bird photos, thanks to a couple new lenses. This collection is my favorite ducks in flight shots.

Full Flaps - - A Mallard hen coming in for a landing in the tidal pond.

Departing the Pond - - A male Mallard leaving the tidal pond.

Mallards in Motion - - Two male Mallards flying over the tidal pond.

Surprise! - - Last but not least, a male male mallard that had just been startled by a duckling that sneaked up behind him and pulled one of his tail feathers. He squawked and went straight up about 4 ft. I caught him on the way up.

Top notch, Gary.

The opening shot, with the Mallard landing over top of the swimming bird brings a big grin. It’s so typical of ducks. All shots are special.

A beautiful collection of ducks in flight, Gary. Top notch, as Michael said. :+1: :+1:
