Early Season Milky Way

Got up at 3am, drove an hour, and made several shots of the Milky Way. The first is a five shot pano and the second a single shot. There’s really not much difference in the scope of the two shots other than Venus is just above the horizon in the pano and significantly above in the single frame.

Specific Feedback Requested

Can’t decide if the sky appears too blue, even though it checks out against others I’ve done in the past.

Technical Details

Is this a composite: Yes
5 frame shot with a D850, 14-24 Nikon @ 17mm, vertical format, ISO 6400, f/2.8, 15 seconds

Single frame shot has the same settings

I don’t know why, but I really like the single shot, Chris. It feels more authentic. I’m not sure why…maybe the color. Anyway, awesome photos both.
