A nice landscape Dave with vivid colors. For a suggestion I think that the yellow, alwais trikky, can improve lowering its light and a bit also the saturation; at least for me.

I’m liking this. Smart move in obscuring most of the featureless sky with the trees. THe only small suggestion I have is to either show more of the FG rock or none at all. It’s a little tight. Is it what you were standing on?

Nice Fall colors in the Sierra, Dave. I think the yellows are a little bit bright and maybe just a touch over saturated but that is a personal observation and if you are fine with how they look I wouldn’t worry at all about it. I think I would like to see that rock shelf at the bottom of the frame eliminated as I don’t think it adds anything to the image and is an eye catcher. If you crop just above the rock shelf the water appears to come out of the middle of the frame which I think is fine and makes more sense. I think the biggest issue is the curving notch of featureless sky in the upper right corner.
Here is more of a pano crop for this. I hope you don’t mind. It still shows the river and the beautiful Fall colors but it crops off the right tree that I don’t think really adds anything to the image as well as the sky. Unfortunately, it also crops off the top of the nice tall tree on the left side of the river. I left the saturation alone. I love the June Lake Loop. Looks like you had a great time, Dave.
