The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
This image was taken right after the sundown.
I drove past this earlier and although the colors were spectacular, it wasn’t until the light faded that the deep reds and orange started to pop!
The Aspen colors are amazing this year in the central mountains of Colorado.

Wow, gorgeous colours here! The reds really pop.
I’d actually like to see MORE of the reds, so - to me - a wider crop would be great, rather than considering cutting off the bottom. The tops of the trees in addition to more at the bottom would seems about right.
Great catch! I’m envious of the fall colours, s we don’t have many here, except a few liquidambers.
Hi Mathieu,
My favorite time of the year! The reds and yellows look spot on as do the oranges and the depth looks just fine to me. I definitely would not crop any from the bottom as I could see adding just a bit more canvas to the bottom just to give it just a bit more breathing room. My only other suggestion would be to clone out that white post with the # 320 on it. Beautiful image!
Beautiful fall colors; love the reds, oranges and yellows. Nice composition, I agree not to crop the bottom. And if you cropped the top, I would add a bit more in. It’s a lovely photo as is. And you can even get another photo out of it by cropping in on the very white bark trees. They look like they are dancing together.
Great colors and photo! Like others my first thought is that I wanted to see more. I know you had “obstacles” like the road and sky, so I think your strategy of trying a different composition is a good one.
Thanks for posting this image, Mathieu. The colors are remarkable. I wonder if it would be possible to work on the visual mass of the image: The white and large aspen trunks on right side have a considerable visual mass, which is to some extent balanced by the canopy of the smaller aspen tree to the left. This tree, however, is not as clearly separated from the threes to the right. I wonder if it would be an advantage to crop the left side of the image, as in this attachment? Anyway, thanks.
